#FindDavisHodge, Cries Community

Community bands together via Facebook, Twitter to try to find missing Johns Creek teen.

The fliers are simple – a headshot and a hashtag. #FindDavisHodge exploded over Twitter and Facebook on Sunday as the community reacted to news that a 16-year-old from Johns Creek had been missing since Thursday.

The Find Davis Hodge Facebook page is serving as a meeting ground for interested community members to provide updates and to learn how to raise awareness of the search for the teen.

Posts included accounts of spreading hundreds of the fliers throughout Johns Creek, as well as a checklist of places that had been searched and pleas from the child's friends for him to get home soon. The page, which had been created around midday Sunday, had around 650 likes by Sunday evening.

On Twitter, the #FindDavisHodge hashtag was created, with hundreds using the tag with prayers and thoughts for the child and his family.

On , comments from Johns Creek and as far away as Korea and the Bahamas included:

"My daughter and I want to know if there anything we can do to help?"

"Our family lives in the same neighborhood as Davis. Just saw the missing information in the front of the neighborhood! Our family will do anything we can to help. I cant even imagine the pain your going through right now. We will be praying for Davis and his safety." 

Hodge, a student at , is known to be driving a black Jeep Cherokee Sport, Georgia tag BTL0653. As of 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Johns Creek Police had no updates in the case.
