Each month the Johns Creek Police Department releases crime and incident statistics from the previous month in its newsletter Cops Connect.

Here are February's numbers as published in the newsletter:

Service calls: 6,129

Car break-ins: 24

Burglaries: 12

DUIs: 21

Traffic accidents: 137

The burglaries occurred at Alara Apartments (2), 7250 Bell Road, Silver Ridge subdivision, The Gates at Johns Creek, Rivermont Village, Surrey Park, Century State Bridge Apartments, Cameron Forest, Bridgestone subdivision, Queensbury and Thornhill.

The car break-ins occurred at Sugar Mill (4), The Forest, Parkside, Bellemont Farms, Chelsea Ridge, Stratmore, Thornhill, River Knoll, River Club, Newtown Park, Doublegate, 10625 Parsons Road, 10500 Parsons Road, Wynbridge, 9900 Medlock Bridge Road (2), Medlock Bridge subdivision, Brookshire Lake, Amberleigh, Hunter's Close and 3000 Old Alabama Road.

According to the newsletter, the top five intersections for vehicle accidents were (1) State Bridge and Medlock Bridge, (2) Medlock Bridge and Abbotts Bridge, (3) State Bridge and Jones Bridge, (4) Jones Bridge and Old Alabama, and (5) Medlock Bridge and Medlock Crossing; Johns Creek Parkway and Lakefield Drive; and Medlock Bridge and Wilson.
