Crime Report: DUI Arrests, Marijuana Possession, Burglaries and More

Johns Creek Police responded to 42 incidents in that occurred in the community within a five-day period.

The following is a listing of reported police activity for Dec. 2 - 7, 2013 for the city of Johns Creek. The list includes 12 arrests.

Marijuana Possession
One case was reported on Dec. 5

  • An 18-year-old female was arrested on charges of marijuana possession (less than 1 oz.) on the 9000 block of Twingate Drive.
Harassing Communications
Two cases were reported; Dec. 3, Dec. 5

Driving Under the Influence - Alcohol
Two arrests were made; Dec. 4, Dec. 7
  • A 23-year-old male was arrested on charges of driving under the influence at the intersection of Medlock Bridge and Abbotts Bridge Roads on Dec. 4.
  • A 38-year-old male was arrested on charges of driving under the influence at the intersection of Nesbit Ferry and Old Alabama roads on Dec. 7
Traffic Arrest
Four arrests were made; Dec. 2, Dec. 3, Dec. 6, Dec 7

Hit and Run
Four cases were reported; Dec. 2, Dec. 5, two on Dec. 6

Lost and Mislaid Property
Five cases were reported; Dec 3, two Dec. 4, Dec. 5, Dec. 7

Suspicious Activity
Two cases were reported; Dec. 2, Dec. 4

Verbal Disputes
Three cases were reported; Dec. 3 and two Dec. 7

Simple Assault and Battery
Two cases were reported; Dec. 2 and Dec. 6

Residential Burglary - Forced Entry
One case was reported on Dec. 3

Residential Burglary - No Forced Entry
One case was reported on Dec. 6

Burglary - Non residential - Forced Entry
One case was reported on Dec. 6

Items Stolen from Vehicle
Three cases were reported; one on Dec. 2, two on Dec. 7

Items Stolen from a Building
Three cases were reported; Dec. 4, Dec. 5, Dec. 6

Items Stolen from Yard
One case was reported on Dec. 5

Fraud - Impersonation
Three cases were reported; Dec. 3, Dec. 5, Dec. 6

Fraud - Illegal Use of Credit/FTC
Three cases were reported; Dec. 2, Dec. 3, Dec. 4

Fraudulent Activity - Other
One case was reported on Dec. 3
