Enroll in the upcoming Citizen Police Academy by Saturday, July 5, when registration closes. The nine-week course starts Aug. 13 and continues on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. through Oct. 8.
Participants will learn about criminal investigations, internal affairs, narcotics, CSI and community services; and watch K-9 and SWAT demonstrations and practical exercises in traffic enforcement and firearms.
