BLOTTER: Romney Signs Stolen; Trouble at Subway

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

On Oct. 8 a resident on Buice Road reported that someone entered her property and stole Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan campaign signs that were posted at the end of her driveway. She told police that a campaign sign had also been stolen from the intersection of Buice and Redbird Lane and that she had notified the GOP.

On Oct. 9 a manager at Subway in the Saddlebrook Shopping Center on State Bridge Road reported that a man carrying several large bags entered the restaurant and began screaming profanities at employees and patrons, including children. When police arrived, the subject had left, but the manager said she saw him walking through the parking lot toward State Bridge Road. According to the police report, the man had recently been criminally trespassed from several businesses in the area, including Subway. Police found him sitting on a bench at the intersection of State Bridge and Jones Bridge roads, and was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

On Oct. 10 an employee at Kroger on Douglas Road reported his work handheld HP computer stolen from atop a stack of Pepsi products in front of the store.
