Blotter: Whole Foods Shoplifting; Car Break-Ins

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

Shoplifting

On Oct. 31 a Whole Foods employee told a Johns Creek Police officer that a white female in a long black coat came into the store, picked out some stew beef, N.Y. strip steak, beef tenderloin, bacon, sliced ham and a side of pasta then left the store without paying. The suspect was seen getting into a white Acura and was described as about 5'9" with shoulder-length blonde hair, with protruding front teeth and between 40- and 50-years-old.

Theft

On Nov. 3 a resident reported a stolen iPhone to Johns Creek Police. The victim stated that he believes he left his phone in a shopping cart after shopping at Kroger on Old Alabama Road. When he returned to the store, the phone was not there. Using an app, the victim was able to see that his phone was located off Maid Marion Close in Alpharetta. Police attempted to locate the phone by going to the area and talking with residents, but were unsuccessful in locating the phone.

Vehicle Theft

On Oct. 31 a maroon 1998 Buick Century was reported stolen on Wellsley Bend.

Vehicle Break-Ins

On Oct. 29 two vehicles at an address on Preserve Circle were reported broken into. A wallet and money clip were reported stolen.

On Oct. 30 two vehicles at an address on Cirrus Drive were reported broken into. An undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen.

On Oct. 30 two vehicles at another address on Cirrus Drive were reported broken into. Items had been scattered, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

On Oct. 30 three vehicles at an address on Tanners Spring Drive were reported broken into. The vehicles appeared to be rummaged through, but only spare change was noticed missing.

On Oct. 30 a vehicle on Brightmore Downs was reported broken into. The vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing was taken.

On Nov. 1 two vehicles at Jones Bridge Park on Barnwell Road were reported broken into. A wallet and purse were reported stolen.

On Nov. 3 a vehicle on South Magnolia Circle was reported broken into. The suspect said that he was notified by a neighbor who had found several of his credit cards and driver's license in a nearby sewer.
