Blotter: Man Shoplifts Printer Ink at Target

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

Shoplifting

On Dec. 8 police were called to Target on State Bridge Road in response to a shoplifting. An employee stated that an Asian male selected an HP ink cartridge and concealed it under his jacket as he walked around the store. The man went into the restroom, removed the cartridge wrapper and attempted to leave the store, bypassing all cash registers. The employee approached the man once he was outside, asked him to come back inside with him and recovered the cartridge. The incident was captured on security cameras. The man, a 48-year-old Johns Creek resident, was charged with misdemeanor shoplifting and released.

On Dec. 4 two vehicles parked at the Chattahoochee National Park on Β Barnwell Road were reported broken into. Cash was reported stolen from both vehicles.
