Blotter: Man Punches In Glass Door at Panera

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

On Aug. 28 an employee at Panera on Medlock Bridge Road reported an attempted robbery while he was working alone in the store early in the morning.

The employee stated that he observed a black male, about 5'9", thin build and wearing a black baseball hat, black shirt and black pants walk up to the southernmost door of the business.

The employee said the man asked him to open the door. The employee approached the door and told the man he could not open it. He said the man became enraged, started grabbing the door handle and screamed "open the f***ing door." The employee said the man punched the glass on the door, causing it to shatter. He said the man immediately ran away after punching the glass toward the tunnel that connects the parking lot to Medlock Bridge Road.
