BLOTTER: Hit & Run, House TP'd

The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.

Hit & Run

On July 10 a woman reported that she was parked in the handicapped parking space in front of on Medlock Bridge Road when she attempted to back out. She said she saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed toward the building in the lane she was backing into. She said the front passenger corner of the vehicle struck the rear passenger corner of hers.

The victim stated that both she and the other driver got out of their vehicles, and that the driver who hit her was extremely angry, yelled at her and said he had to go pick up his mother, and then left the scene.

The victim called 911 with the tag number and description of the vehicle that hit her. She said she would be able to recognize the driver if she saw him again.

The responding officer ran the tag number and found the description of the car and driver matched the description matched what the victim gave.

Trespass

On July 9 a resident on Amberleigh Way reported that her front yard and two cars were toilet papered for the second time in three nights. The woman reported that she is uncomfortable with people running around her yard late at night, risking injury and destruction of property. She requested police patrol the street between midnight and 2 a.m.

Vehicle Break-In

On July 12 a resident on Laurel Green Way reported his unlocked vehicle that was parked on the street broken into. He said a GPS and camera were stolen.

Theft

On July 12 a customer at Β on Johns Creek Parkway reported his iPad stolen. The victim said he believed it was taken when he set his gym bag on the bench in the locker room and walked to the sink.Β
