BLOTTER: Theft from Foreclosed Home; Car Break-Ins
The following information was supplied by the Johns Creek Police Department.
Thefts
On July 31 a customer at on Johns Creek Parkway reported an iPhone and wallet with credit and debit cards stolen from his locker. The victim stated that he had misplaced his key after placing his belongings inside the locker and when he returned to the locker an hour later he found the items stolen.
On Aug. 3 a bicycle was reported stolen from an unlocked garage in a home onΒ Carnwath Court. The victim stated that the home was in foreclosure and that she had been out of town and returned to find a patio set and bicycle missing. Prior to police arrival, a neighbor returned the patio set. The neighbor had previously spoken to the victim about buying the set. A notice had been placed on the door of the residence advising that the home would be emptied soon. The neighbor stated that they moved the furniture to avoid it being thrown on the street, but denied having the bicycle.

Vehicle Break-Ins
On Aug. 2 two vehicles on Magnolia Blossom Court were reported broken into. The victim stated that his garage door was unlocked. Cash, credit and debit cards and prescription medication were reported stolen.

On Aug. 4 a vehicle at Jones Bridge Park on Barnwell Road was reported broken into. A briefcase, leather binder, prescription medication, purse, credit and debit cards and car keys were reported stolen.
