Demand the Facts and Speak the Truth

The latest controversy is a perfect example of unnecessary and embarrassing argument in Johns Creek.  People are insulting others, other are using tired and undignified talking points like, "...the mayors supporters" to blame yet something else on.

Why?  Just get the facts, then speak.

Go to Fulton County and put in an open records request.  Ask for the names of those that approved the original use of Northview and for what date as well as who pulled the authorization, and why. Include a request for all communications related to this issue.

Next, ask the PTA to provide an explanation from the NHS PTSA President (I think this is who allegedly cancelled without explanation?) as to the reasons for the cancellation and to disclose the details of any conversations she had with persons related to this request (communications with persons via email, phone, text, in person, etc).   If they won't provide the information, appeal to the State and National PTSA to compell the information.  If that doesn't work, you have State and Federal legal options if there are questions about the activities violating their charitable charters (an example might be partisan political activity).

Ask Bev Miller to request the organizer release the entire email history to the public.

Hold people accountable with facts, not baseless allegations and insults.

If we don't, we will continue to live in this chaotic and dishonest environment which reflects poorly on our whole city.
