Remembering Jim White: May 26, 1958 - November 23, 2013

The Johns Creek resident was 55. He succumbed to cancer after an 11 year battle and died at home with his wife and two daughters by his side.

James Alan White, 55 years old, of Johns Creek, Georgia, died on Saturday, November 23, 2013. After an almost 11 year battle with cancer, he passed away at home with his loving wife and two daughters by his side. 


Jim grew up in Buffalo, NY and at the age of 19, headed out West to San Francisco. In 1986, the family moved to Georgia. Over the years, Jim held various jobs, mainly in the security field. For the last 9 years, Jim worked for the Department of Homeland Security, as a TSA Supervisor, at the Atlanta Airport. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Adrienne White, his daughters, Jessica and Miranda White, his Mom and Pop, Regina and Jack Benson, his brother and sister in law, Jack and Leslie White, his brother Kenny David White, and his sister Coleen Patterson as well as many other loving family members. Jim is preceded in death by his brother Robert White. 

Jim’s love for his family and friends and his ability to embrace and live life to the fullest, even through difficult times during his illness, will be remembered and are an inspiration to many.
