Nancy Reinecke to Run for Johns Creek City Council, Post 6
I am pleased to hear that Steve Broadbent will be running for Johns Creek City Council, Post 4, and I would like to announce that I also will be running for City Council, but for Post 6, the seat left vacant by the resignation of Bev Miller. I am motivated by all the people that have encouraged me to run again having learned about me as a candidate in last November’s election.
I am running for city council to work hard, think carefully, listen to all views, and work together with all the council members. I want to continue to build on the progress the council has made since the last election to focus on matters of importance to the residents and businesses of Johns Creek.
I am for low taxes, improving our infrastructure, more parks and green space, and responsible zoning decisions that do not worsen our traffic problems. I am for fostering business while preserving the character of Johns Creek that attracted residents and businesses to the area.

I support the Mayor and Council’s efforts to implement multi-year budget planning, and to conduct a careful review of the City Charter with considerable citizen input to identify improvements.
To successfully accomplish these goals, I strongly believe in the need for outreach to the community to solicit input and involve citizens; for transparency in city government through more discussion at council meetings; and for involvement by all cultural groups that make up our community.
