Free Document Shredding on Saturday for Johns Creek Residents

Residents can stop by Panera Bread on Medlock Bridge Road on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to shred sensitive documents for free.

The city of Johns Creek will partner with a national restaurant chain to offer free document shredding for its residents.

The city is partnering with Panera Bread Company at 11715 Medlock Bridge Road to offer the free service on Saturday, June 7.

Residents can safely dispose of sensitive documents between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. All paper will be recycled and the shredding will be done on-site

To avoid identity theft, the Federal Trade Commission "recommends shredding charge receipts, copies of credit applications, insurance forms, physician statements, checks and bank statements, expired charge cards and credit offers," the city said in its press release.
