'Park Place,' Johns Creek's active adult center opens

Renovated and spruced up, the venerable Newtown School will be unveiled July 28 at 10 a.m. as "Park Place," an active adult center for Johns Creek residents age 62 or older. Dr. Charles Exley, a member of the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association Hall of Fame, will serve as the keynote speaker.
