Safety and Self-Defense Class for Women

Johns Creek Police Department is offering women a Safety and Self-Defense class to teach situational awareness and self-defense. 

The class is set for 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 21. The class is taught by Sgt. Debbie Kalish and Sgt. Ben Finley of the Johns Creek Police Department. Both are experienced Defensive Tactics instructors with more than 30 years combined law enforcement experience.

The class, which is free, is taught at JCPD headquarters at 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
