Safety and Self-Defense Class for Girls

Johns Creek Police Department is offering teenaged girls a Safety and Self-Defense class to teach situational awareness and self-defense.

The teenagers' class, for girls 13 to 20 years old, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 3. The class is taught by Sgt. Debbie Kalish and Sgt. Ben Finley of the Johns Creek Police Department. Both are experienced Defensive Tactics instructors with more than 30 years combined law enforcement experience.

The classes, which are free, are taught at JCPD headquarters at 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
