Preschool Adventures

This adventure introduces 3-6 year-olds to the natural and historic
environment at Autrey Mill through fun themes chosen to spark
preschooler's imagination and curiosity. Each program is different and
may Include a brief nature hike, a hands-on activity, craft, or animal
visit that connects nature and local heritage.

Monthly theme: Presidents Day - This adventure will combine history and nature with the theme of
Presidents Day. Children will learn the story about George Washington's
cherry tree and the concept of honesty. We'll go for a hike to observe
nature and collect twigs to make a fun "cherry tree" craft of twigs,
colored popcorn and tissue paper.


Ages 3-6 (A parent or guardian must accompany their child)

$7 for members, $10 for non-members Parents are free but are required to stay for the program. No charge for non-participating siblings. Designed
for children 3 years or older.


REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Please register at least 24 hours in advance of class. Call the office at 678-366-3512 if interested in later registration to confirm availability.
