Preschool Adventures

This adventure introduce 3-6 year-olds to the natural and historic
environment at Autrey Mill through fun themes chosen to spark
preschooler's imagination and curiosity. Each program is different and
may Include a brief nature hike, a hands-on activity, craft, or animal
visit that connects nature and local heritage.

January Theme:Surviving Winter - We will talk about how squirrels prepare for and
survive winter. We will look for squirrels and their nests and make a
squirrel craft. Children will also visit the Green Store to learn how
people prepared for and survived winters in the "olden days".

$7 for members, $10 for non-members Parents are free but are required to stay for the program. No charge for non-participating siblings. Designed
for children 3 years or older.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Please register at least 24 hours in advance of class. Call the office (678-366-3511) if interested in later registration to confirm availability.
