Watching Jerome Olds perform is like the sweet caress from an older man—it’s surprisingly soulful…gentle, yet confident…never flashy, but highly nuanced…in no hurry to get to the end…fully attentive and present in the breath captured in each and every moment.  Each and every time he hits the stage–even as a guest–the room is ignited in joy.
Singer/songwriter/producer Jerome Olds has performed around the world, from the Royal Albert Hall in London to soccer stadiums in Rio de Janiero. He’s played with Paul Shaffer and Will Lee
from the David Letterman Show and with The Four Tops, The Temptations and Tina Turner in Atlanta’s Chastain Park Amphitheater.  Jerome’s composition “Mighty Spirit” has become the longest running PSA commercial in the history of television.  “Mighty Spirit” was also used as the National theme song for the “Points of Light” campaign, for which he was honored at the White House for his contribution to the nation. The Alvin Ailey Dance Company features “Mighty Spirit” in its “Slaves” ballet production and The Walt Disney Company used it for their 50th anniversary celebration.  Join this soulful singer songwriter for an evening of enchanting music with piano, bass and percussion.
