Teen Safety Class Taught by Johns Creek PD

Johns Creek Police is providing a Teen Safety and Awareness Class Nov. 25 to help girls be more aware of potential danger and to be better prepared in threatening situations.

Topics include crimes in general, and the importance of developing a mental mindset to detect and react to danger signs. We'll discuss home, vehicle, walking, shopping and personal safety.

The class will also cover some fighting techniques.

The class runs from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at JCPD headquarters.
