Johns Creek Founders Parade

The fun-loving Shriners with their loud motorcycles, funny cars and clowns are returning once again to the Johns Creek Founders Day Parade on Dec. 7.

The Yaarab Shriners of Atlanta, who have been in the parade since it started in 2007, typically bring miniature cars, Harley escorts and clowns.

The Shriners will join the Medieval Times crew, the Seed and Feed Abominables (an eccentric and eclectic marching band) and the Atholl Highlanders. Other returnees include Buddy Beaver of the Army Corps of Engineers, the Monette roadsters, and race cars, which will motor past nearly 10,000 people along the mile-long route on State Bridge. The parade will also feature marching bands, antique cars, Scout troops, community floats and other entries.
