FARMeander Tour

Join Georgia Food Tours and the Madison-Morgan Conservancy for the inaugural FARMeander Weekend on April 12 & 13, 2014.  During this two-day event, you will see beautiful farms, taste delicious food and meet the farmers who provide the meat, produce and cheese for the finest restaurants in Atlanta and Athens.

When:
 April 12 & 13, 2014

Saturday, April 12th: Farm Tours 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Farm-sourced, 5-course supper: 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wine & Cheese Tasting: during all available tour times

Sunday, April 13h: Farm Tours 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Wine & Cheese Tasting: during all available tour times

Where: Less than an hour east of Atlanta.  Tour farms surrounding eight historic towns, including Covington and Madison.

What: 1) Farm tours on Saturday & Sunday, 2) a delicious, farm-sourced, 5-course supper on Saturday, and 3) a wine and cheese tasting on Saturday & Sunday.

Farms Participating: Burge Organic, Camp Twin Lakes, Crystal Organic, CJ Orchards, Greendale Farm, Hundred Acre Farm, Sunflower Farm and Tewksbury Farm

How: Select three farms to tour each day.  Decide if you want to stay for supper.  Decide if you want to participate in a wine & cheese tasting.  Register for specific events and tour times atwww.GeorgiaFoodTours.com.  Space is limited for all events.
