Precious ALBIE is looking for his furever home & family!

Meet wonderful ALBIE!  Albie is a male Yellow Lab/Beagle mix...what we like to call a "low rider"!  He is 5 years old (way past the puppy chewing stage!) and weighs approximately 35 pounds.  You could call Albie a "mini Lab" boy!

Albie is up-to-date on vetting but has not been neutered yet, pending his completion of treatment for heartworms.  Precious Albie was rescued by Angels Among Us Pet Rescue from a horrid life in a rural area of North Georgia.  He was left outside 24/7, and never had the chance to keep away from mosquitoes which carry the dreaded heartworm disease to animals left outside.  But please do not worry - Angels Rescue will get this wonderful boy through his treatment and he'll then be neutered and microchipped, and good as new!!  He's doing great, by the way, with his treatments.

This unlucky fellow has had a very rough start in life, being outside all the time and we suspect he has been through some levels of physical abuse and tormenting, as he sometimes has a scared reaction to things like sudden movements.  He isn't aggresive, but rather slinks back in fear as though remembering a time when movements toward him meant him being abused.  But he's coming along and learning that not all humans are bad, and that people can be loving, and kind, and cuddly with him.

And speaking of cuddling, Albie is learning to be a world-class cuddler.  He is great with other dogs, cats, kids and adults.  He is shy at first but is very quick to warm up to his human and get some of that wonderful cuddle time Albie loves!  He has no aggression issues - shares his food, his toys and his total affection with no issues whatsoever.

The perfect home for Albie will be one where he can cuddle, give kisses, snuggle next to his fur siblings, and sniff his fenced, secure backyard to his heart's content.  He ADORES kids!  Their noisy and quick movements don't seem to scare or bother Albie one bit - he obviously has no trust issues with kids and children - it's just adults he has to take time learning to trust.

Won't you please consider giving your heart and home to little Albie?  He will reward you with wonderful kisses, unconditional love, and the best snuggle time you could ever ask for or want from your furry companion!
