Angels Rescue "Home For The Holidays!" December Campaign

During the month of December, we will be featuring two rescued pets each week who are up for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet "Dinah" and "Chelsea", our featured duo for week 1 of our December "Home For The Holidays" Campaign!

Dinah, our canine girl
, is a purebred American Eskimo who is 4 years old, weighs in at a mere 15 lbs., is spayed, up-to-date on all her shots, is microchipped, housebroken, crate-trained (although she doesn't neet to be crated), and is ready to find her forever home and family for Christmas!

Dinah came to Angels from a shelter in Alabama, where an Angels volunteer saw she and her brother and went to rescue them (the male has been adopted).  Dinah is the "perfect" dog!  She loves other dogs, children, and adults.  She gets along nicely with other dogs and is submissive in nature.  She loves to play with toys, doggie chews and her Nylabones!  Dinah is fostered with a small Maltese female who loves to try to take Dinah's toys and chews away - Dinah tries to keep them but when the bossy roommate insists, Dinah will just give in and allow her to take the toy away.  Her favorite pasttime is playing chase with the other dogs and just running around and having fun in the back yard.

True to her breed, Dinah is a natural guardian and will bark at strangers; however, our sweet Dinah is all "bark" and no "bite".   The ideal home for Dinah would be one were she could have another doggie companion who is playful.  She will need a secure, fenced in yard where she can run and play to her heart's content, and explore the boundaries in a safe, secure environment.

Chelsea, our feline girl, is a tabby kitten who is only 7 months old, weighs in at a whisper of 5 pounds, is spayed, up-to-date on all her shots, microchipped, house and litterbox-trained, and is ready to find her loving family and furever home for Christmas!

The adorable little munchkin is wonderful with kids, adults, dogs who are feline-friendly.  She has no aggression issues and just wants to be with her people, in a warm lap, or in a blanket on her foster mom's bed, or in a chair by the window.  Even though she's a champion at snuggling, their precious little girl also loves to play with toys and just run around and have fun!

This kitty was born a mere 2 minutes after her mother arrived at a local shelter.  She is 1 of a litter of 7, and is the last one looking for a home as she became ill early on with a nasty virus and wasn't able to be up for adoption at the time her siblings got adopted.  Chelsea is completely healthy now, and is very much ready to be "home for the holidays" with a loving family!

The ideal home for Chelsea would be one that provides lots of attention and activity.  She could be an only-pet, but much prefers the company of other pets to play with and have for companionship.  She adores sleeping with her 8-year old human brother each night!  Chelsea is a quiet, sweet, loving girl and needs someone who will shower her with all the love and attention she so deserves!
