Voter Registration Ends Monday; Early Voting Begins Oct. 14

The general elections in Fulton County are set for Nov. 5, 2013.

Election Day 2013 is less than five weeks away and Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp wants to make eligible voters aware of the deadlines and requirements for the Nov. 5 general election.


The deadline is Monday, Oct. 7 to register to vote in the general election. Here are five ways new voters can request forms to register. All registered voters should ensure their information on file is up-to-date by logging into the Georgia Secretary of State's My Voter Page

To register to vote in Fulton County you must: 1) be a citizen of the United States; 2) be a legal resident of Fulton County; 3) be at least 18 years of age on Election Day.

Early voting for the 2013 elections in Fulton County will kick off the following Monday. Beginning Oct. 14 until Nov. 1, voters in the county will have a chance to cast their ballots early for the general election. Early voting will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. at these locations:

  • Fulton County Government Center, 130 Peachtree Street, SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta
  • North Fulton Service Center, 7741 Roswell Road, Room 232, Sandy Springs
  • South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, Room 108, College Park
  • City of Roswell, City Hall, 38 Hill Street, 2nd Floor, Roswell

Additional Early Voting Locations (Oct. 28- Nov. 1, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.):

  • Alpharetta City Hall, 2 South Main Street, Alpharetta

Saturday Voting & Family Voting Day (Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

On this day, voters are encouraged to bring their whole family, with special activities to teach "future voters" about the election process.

  • Coan Recreation Center, 1530 Woodbine Ave., SE, Atlanta
