What is the cost to the taxpayers to hold this Special Meeting? What is so urgent that it can not wait until the regularly scheduled meeting on Monday Sept 23rd.........??? Jane H.

I'll admit that I don't have all the details here, but it's not for lack of trying. However, what I do know is that Johns Creek is the top city in the state. We have the best schools, great roads, and a robust arts and cultural community. That speaks to the leadership of Mike Bodker, especially being a new city. It saddens me so much to see our great city being drug through the mud and the integrity of one of our top citizens being questioned. I believe if anyone has breached our trust, it is the city counsel and they should each be investigated. Lets pull their personal phone records and I feel certain you'll find evidence of collusion behind this travesty. It's time for a change, but it's not Mike Bodker who needs to be changed. As a business owner and resident for 20 years, I sincerely request that our hard-earned tax dollars not be waisted further. Please use them to continue building our great community. Lu

How did things get so out of control? This is like one flew over the cuckoo's nest. All puppets on a string to a city manager that conduct business like Hitler and a city attorney that rigs this stuff like Mussolini. Thomas Gybe

Anyone that says they would turn over seven years of records for all of their personal phone calls to persons that will not disclose exactly why they want the information (but are clearly out to get you) is either lying or senseless. To assume he is reluctant because he's hiding something is either small minded or disingenuous. Would you want all your personal communications with your wife/husband, kids, friends, etc potentially opened up to anyone and everyone? It doesn't signal guilt to me that he hasn't forked over the abundance of unjustified information they have requested... it signals intelligence and appreciation of an individual's basic right to privacy. JC Citizen

Mayor Bodker knows exactly why he is being investigated. All of the allegations have been brought to his attention. That is fact. When he is out there saying he has no idea what they are looking for, his is being dishonest. Now he is just dragging his heels until after the election. Greg
