Several Candidates Qualify for Johns Creek Council Seats

Four residents are running for the Post 4 seat while five candidates have qualified for the Post 6 seat.

Residents on May 20 will have a slew of candidates to choose from to fill the Posts 4 and 6 seats on the Johns Creek City Council.

Four candidates have qualified to fill the Post 4 seat while five residents tossed their hats into the ring for the Post 6 seats. Both Ivan Figueroa of Post 4 and Bev Miller of Post 6, respectively, resigned from their positions.

Miller resigned to run for the office of mayor while Figueroa noted his career demanded more of his time.

The Post 4 candidates are:

Eric Fragoso, business consultant
Bob Gray, small businessman
Arun Misra, retired
Thomas "Tom" Radford, small business owner

The Post 6 candidates are:

Steve Broadbent, executive benefits consultant, 
Tom Mazzuckelli, general dentist
Nancy Reinecke, dietitian/nutritionist  
Lea Taylor, teacher
Esther Weathers, fundraising consultant 

The deadline to register to vote in the special election will be April 21.
