UPDATED: Water Main Break at Buice Road

Several subdivisions without water until at least 2 p.m.; one lane of Buice closed.

6 P.M. UPDATE: Water main break is fixed; water service restored to affected homes; all lanes of Buice Road are open.

3 P.M UPDATE: According to Fulton County, public works crews are working on the repair which is expected to by complete by 7 p.m. Some 300 homes in the area will experience service disruptions.

According to an alert sent out by the city of Johns Creek, a water main break at 5275 Buice Road has left the following subdivisions without water: Linkwood, Farmbrook Estates, Spring Garden, Lakeview Estates, Fox Creek, Clublands, Winthrop Park, Forrest Lake,Kingston Crossing, Haydens Walk and Enclave at Farmbrook.

Water is expected to be off until at least 2 p.m. while the Fulton County Water Department repairs the pipe. One lane of Buice Road is closed from Kingston Crossing to Old Alabama Road. Flaggers will direct traffic around the repair site.
