Ben Team Named Executive Director at Autrey Mill

The Board of Directors of has announced the promotion of Ben Team to executive director. 

For the past 16 years, Team has been providing environmental education programs to children, teachers, scouts and the general public. Team has been with Autrey Mill since 2004, serving initially as education coordinator. He was promoted to director in 2006. 

He has been featured in the Atlanta Journal/Constitution, on Disney Radio, several local magazines and more.

Howard Sharfstein, president of Autrey Mill’s board of directors, said, “Ben is the heart of Autrey Mill. He develops our nature programs, leads our hikes, goes into our schools, and introduces our children to the many animals and trees that are native to Georgia and live at Autrey Mill. He is a priceless asset.”
