Dead Body Found on I-85 in Norcross Area - Norcross Patch

Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian on Interstate 85 North between Pleasantdale Road and Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, a Corrections Work Detail was cleaning debris off Dawson Boulevard and Graves Road when they discovered a dead body. The body was discovered next to a concrete barrier near a small ravine and could not be seen off the interstate. .

 

Man Shot in Canton Family Dispute - Canton-Sixes Patch

A man is in serious condition at Northside Hospital-Cherokee after he was shot in the course of a family dispute, authorities say.

According to a press release from the Canton Police Department, a Hispanic male suffered a gunshot wound at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Lakeview Drive in Canton. .
