Rain is Here, Cold Air May Be on the Way
Johns Creek is set for a wet week of cooler temperatures as a cold front moves into Georgia. Freezing temperatures could arrive next week.
Following a warm weekend in the 70s, Georgia is set for rain, cooler temps and maybe even a blast of cold air from the north.
A rainy Monday and Tuesday accompany cooler weather and a cold front, as it moves from out west to the east by midweek, according to The Weather Channel. It's not yet clear how far south the cold air would reach as the jet stream dips.
Forecasters give Johns Creek a 100 percent chance of rain on Monday, when the high is expected to reach 58, and 30 percent chance on Tuesday with a high of 56, according to the National Weather Service. Showers are expected to taper off Wednesday and Thursday, as low temperatures dip to 40 and 33, respectively. Today's rain should taper off by 1 p.m. Highs are forecast for the mid 50s. On Thursday, a high of 42 is forecast.
