'Pill Mill' Partner Pleads Guilty; Woman Suffers Minor Injuries After Car Overturns

- Cartersville Patch

One of the five people accused of operating a "pill mill" in Cartersville has pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with federal authorities.

Emily Bowman Comes Off Ventilator While Athens Police Burn The Midnight Oil - Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch

The 19-year-old Woodstock woman who remains in critical condition at Athens Regional Medical Center has reached another milestone in her recovery.

Car Lands Upside Down on Highway 372 - Canton-Sixes Patch

A woman has been taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta after extricating herself from a car that landed upside down on Highway 372 in Ball Ground.

According to a Cherokee Fire and Emergency Services release, a Honda left the highway near Flat Bottom Trail just before 6 p.m. Sunday and became airborne.Visit Canton-Sixes Patch for more on this story.

Atlanta Police along with CrimeStoppers is actively trying to find leads and information that will lead to the arrest of 2 men, who robbed and subsequently shot a man near Capitol View in the 500 block of Mellview Avenue.
