Sgt. Jonathan Rogers, Bartow Sheriff's Office spokesman, said major tornado damage has occurred in Adairsville as a tornado hit the area.

"There are accidents, injuries and building entrapments. All available assistance is enroute to the area," Sgt. Rogers said.

Tiffani Torres, 18, of Flowery Branch, posted a $1000 bond late Tuesday afternoon, according to Sgt. Kiley Sargent of the Hall County Sheriff's Office. .
