Alabama Student From Roswell Killed in Crash - Roswell Patch

A crash involving a bus carrying University of Alabama cheerleaders has lead to the death of Roswell resident Natalie Baine, 20, according to My Fox Atlanta.

Baine, a student and member of a sorority at Alabama, was the passenger in a pickup truck that collided with the bus last Tuesday. No charges have been filed in the Montgomery, AL accident, according to the report. See Roswell Patch for more on this story.

A 28-year-old man who was shot multiple times early Sunday morning in south Forsyth County is expected to recover, according to authorities.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. in the Twin Lakes Mobile Home Park located at 3300 Shore Drive, off Highway 9 in Cumming. Visit Cumming Patch for more on this story. 

 

Pedestrian Hit and Killed on Floyd Road - South Cobb Patch

A pedestrian was killed this morning by a car traveling on Floyd Road.

The accident, which occurred at Floyd Road and White Boulevard, happened as the pedestrian, John W. Kelly, 29, of Mableton, was attempting to cross the road. It was not at a designated crosswalk. See South Cobb Patch for more on this story.
