Learn to Make a Colonial Wreath

Pike seminar on Saturday teaches customers how to create Williamsburg wreaths.

As family members start arriving to celebrate the holidays, homeowners can give their guests something to talk about as soon as they step up to the front door by adding a Williamsburg Wreath.

On Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m.Pike Nurseries invites customers to participate in a seminar on how to create their very own Williamsburg Wreath. The class costs $30 and includes access to a pre-made 20-inch Noble Wreath, fruit, assorted nuts and magnolia leaves for customers to create and take home a festive front-door wreath.

Pike Nurseries has two locations in Johns Creek: 5795 State Bridge Road and 2955 Holcomb Bridge Road.

In the hour-long seminar, participants craft their own Williamsburg Wreath with guidance and expert tricks from a Pike Nurseries instructor. The finished product looks like a Christmas wreath from Colonial Williamsburg and can last for at least three to four weeks outside in cool weather.
