Johns Creek Child Needs Help Battling Epilepsy

Fundraiser planned for Wilson Creek student set to undergo brain surgery.

A rising Wilson Creek Elementary fifth-grader is set to have brain surgery later this month, and the community is hosting a fundraiser to help him.

Surgery to help Tyler Lillard battle a brain tumor that is causing him to have epileptic seizures will cost some $50,000 and the surgery is not insured.

To help Tyler, the community is hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday, June 12, at the pool at Sugar Mill. Cost is $10 to get in, and the fun includes swimming, basketball, Games2U truck access and silent auctions.
