Bundle the kids up for school – the freeze watch starts at 2 a.m. Tuesday, but it doesn't end until 10 a.m.

The freezing temperatures will impact early budding and flowering vegetation. Strong winds can make driving difficult. Boats, too, should exercise extra caution, as rough chop could occur on area lakes.

"Those with agricultural interests in the watch area should make preparations to protect sensitive vegetation and young trees," the National Weather Service advises.

Monday will be partly sunny with a high near 45, according to the National Weather Service, with a slight chance of snow before 2 p.m., turning into a slight chance of rain later in the day. Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 47, wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
