Fulton Educators Named 'Master Teachers'

Sixteen Fulton educators today have been named part of a group of 58 teachers in Georgia who have “positively influenced student achievement in the classroom.”

Gov. Nathan Deal has named the following Fulton educators "Master Teachers":

  • Susan Fisher

  • Deana Skimel
  • Alison Smock
  • Lindsey Tovrog
  • Robert Tyo
  • Celeste Wesner

Teachers earn ‘Master Teacher’ certification based on classroom performance on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test, documented student growth and exemplary professional practices, according to a statement from the governor’s office.

The designation is good for seven years.
