Bicyclist Struck By Truck Dies - Canton-Sixes Patch
The man who was struck by a truck while riding his bicycle on Cumming Highway two weekends ago has passed away, friends of the man say.
Louis "Bud" Phillips, 66, died from his injuries on Jan. 14, nine days after being struck by a Chevrolet pick up truck traveling westbound on Cumming Highway near the Interstate 575 on-ramp. Visit Canton-Sixes Patch for more on this story.

A woman who was walking along Highway 41 on a rainy night in Cartersville was twice struck by cars and killed, Georgia State Patrol spokesman Franka Young said.

One man is dead and another is in critical condition following a barrage of bullets at the North Plaza strip center near the intersection of North Avenue and Boulevard late Monday evening.
