Traffic Jam at Woodward North Academy on Boles Road in Afternoons

Yesterday just after 3 pm, I had the misfortune to turn onto Boles Road off of Abbots Bridge Road and had to hit the brakes due to a line-up of vehicles waiting to turn into Woodward North Academy. Traffic was lined up and stopped both ways. There was a policeman directing traffic, but unable to keep traffic moving. Just to add to the frustration was a second policeman on a motorcyle about 25 yards up the road shooting radar. Really? After about a 10-minute delay of stop-and-go traffic, I was able to get past the congestion.

Obviously, this traffic problem is an everyday occurrence with the policeman there directing traffic, but shouldn't Woodward Academey being responsible for resolving their (and now mine) traffic problem they have created? How about additional parking lanes for their traffic, or bus the kids to a larger remote parking lot where their parents can pick them up safely.

Sorry if this issue is already being resolved with some plan, but is the City of Johns Creek addressing this traffic issue that is clealy avoidable? Does Woodward North Academy have plans to resolve their traffic caused backup and delays?
