Johns Creek resident joins growing national mortgage firm
Private Mortgage Solutions, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Johns Creek resident Ron Sternberg Vice President and Mortgage Banker. He brings more than 25 years of lending experience to the bank and has a complete understanding of the lending industry, specializing in government programs including FHA, VA and USDA, as well as conforming and jumbo products.
“Ron’s finance and program management experience in his former career with IBM has helped him formulate his unique perspective on client satisfaction and support,” says Dan Smith, President of Private Mortgage Solutions.
In 1988, Sternberg started originating residential loans on a part-time basis with Greater Atlanta Mortgage. After retiring from IBM in 1998, he dedicated himself to originating loans full-time.

“I believe that my relationship with clients goes beyond a one-time purchase or refinance,” he says. “I understand that client’s needs change over time and it is my objective to understand and respond to these changes through ongoing communication. Sternberg is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He also holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

He resides in Johns Creek with his wife of 45 years. He is the proud father of two children and has five grandchildren. His hobby is international travel. Having lived in Japan for three years, Sternberg has traveled to that part of the world extensively. His other hobbies include home improvement projects and golf. He is a member of the North Atlanta Men’s Club (NAMC) and is involved in supporting various charities, including the USO, Boys Clubs, and Community Assistance Organizations.
