State Farm Bringing 400 Jobs to Johns Creek

Progress Partners of North Fulton Atlanta and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce said in a statement that they are celebrating an announcement by State Farm that the insurance company will bring up to 400 jobs to its Johns Creek campus by mid-2012.

State Farm will centralize operations at its Johns Creek campus on Johns Creek Parkway. The Johns Creek campus is headquarters of the company's South region.

Lou Douglass, chairman of Progress Partners, said in the statement, "State Farm's decision to consolidate their regional operations to the existing headquarters in Johns Creek reinforces our region and our pro-business environment and robust economic climate. We congratulate them on this move and thank all our partners that support Progress Partners to make projects like this possible."

"This move demonstrates that the city of Johns Creek and North Fulton are a very desirable location for consolidation based upon our central location, low cost of business, available office space and white-collar talent. State Farm is one of many companies that have chosen to locate, expand and consolidate in North Fulton," continued Al Nash,  Progress Partners executive director.
