Noche Opening in Johns Creek; Meet the Chef

Noche's Tina Aleandri became an executive chef without a culinary degree.

Celebrating its grand opening on Tuesday, Noche restaurant plans to bring some intown flavor to Johns Creek. The tapas restaurant is located at 3719 Old Alabama Road at the corner of Jones Bridge near Country Club of the South. 

“The lively atmosphere and menu of our Noche locations have been such a success," said Tom Catherall, owner and certified master chef. "We are absolutely thrilled to expand to the [Johns Creek] area.” 

Just in time for the opening, the folks at Noche thought that Johns Creek residents would like to know a little about Executive Chef Tina Aleandri:

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Executive Chef Tina Aleandri attended the University of South Florida to play for the Women's Soccer Team. While playing soccer she tore her ACL and began her inspiring journey to the world of cooking.

With a nontraditional culinary background, Aleandri became a self-taught chef. In 2002, she moved to Atlanta and began her first hotel job at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead. With her tenacity and love of cuisine, she worked her way up from Cook 4 to Restaurant Chef without a culinary degree.

Food is Aleandri’s passion and every day for her is another day to learn and grow. “I love to be able to make even one person happy with a single bite of harmonious food”. Her greatest culinary accomplishment has been becoming an Executive Chef without a culinary degree.
