Cooking with Kevin Roberts at Publix's Apron
Kevin Roberts, aka The Food Dude, is an executive chef, TV personality, and the author of several cookbooks: Munchies and Kissing in the Kitchen. He is also the owner of 3 sports bars in the San Diego area, with a 4th to open soon. Roberts recently debuted as the host of TLC’s “BBQ Pitmasters” and is an avid sports enthusiast and tailgater who can often be found grilling with the best of them. His mantra is Quick, Simple, Tasty and his culinary training goes way back to his childhood; he was practically raised in the restaurant industry with Mom & Nana who ran The Spaghetti Factory.
Roberts is also a hot sauce fanatic and the national spokesman for Frank’s RedHot. He has appeared on many nationally recognized TV shows including: The Today Show, CBS The Early Show, and The Food Network.
