ALDI Opening in Johns Creek in August

When discount grocer ALDI opens in Johns Creek on Aug. 8, the community is invited to come out and enjoy its grand opening, which will include samples, tours and sweepstakes opportunities.

The store is located at 10955 Jones Bridge Road at the corner of State Bridge in the North Bridges shopping center (Outback, Goodwill).

“We are pleased to bring ALDI to Johns Creek to help customers get high-quality products at everyday low prices,” said Thom Behtz, Jefferson division vice president for ALDI in a press release. “We challenge shoppers to switch from national brands to our high-quality exclusive brands and save up to 50 percent without compromising. As important as price is, the only way to attract and keep shoppers is to have quality products.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony starts Thursday, Aug. 8, at 8:45 a.m. 

ALDI eliminates overhead costs by a cart rental system through which shoppers insert a quarter to release a cart and receive the quarter back upon the cart’s return; smaller store footprint, open carton displays and encouraging customers to bring their own shopping bags.

The Johns Creek location will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday and accepts cash, debit and EBT cards.
