Back to School Quiz! Ready?

In years past when my children were younger and in school, I remember the summer as the best time to laze around or take family vacations. Summer in our house meant having a jigsaw puzzle out on the dining room table for anyone who passed by to secure another piece, or see an afternoon movie, sleep late and do absolutely nothing at all. Those days are long gone and I find myself missing that moment in my life.

I assume that some of my readers are at this point in their lives, whereas some others are preparing for the upcoming school calendar of events.

Feeling like the summer has slipped away? It's about this time when families start to think about vacations again. Summer has barely ended and I know some of you are getting that itchy feeling that another vacation is on the horizon. I know I still get that warm and fuzzy feeling when the travel bug comes up to bite me in the.... well you know! With that in mind I thought I'd plant the seeds of knowledge and ask you all a few trivia questions. After all, this short quiz is right in line with the beginning of the new school term.

The following are a few fun facts about places around the world that you may or may not know. Feel free to answer or post your own quiz questions.
