North Fulton Community Hands Out Backpacks Filled with Supplies

The annual North Fulton Community Charities Back to School Fair was held Saturday morning.

More than 1,100 backpacks were given to children and their parents, just two days before the start of the school year for students in Fulton County.

Volunteers spent many hours donating the backpacks and school supplies, and then fill the backpacks with the supplies for the North Fulton Community Charities Back to School Fair..

The families who benefitted from the donations also had a chance to take care of their health with the Health and Wellness Fair that has become part of the annual event. Vision checks, spinal checks, dietary information and even greens grown in the Chattahoochee Nature Center's garden were available for the parents and their children.
