Watercolor Show Coming to Johns Creek Arts Center

Top watercolor artists to exhibit at JCAC.

An enchanted world of exquisite landscapes, inspiring figurative work, glowing still lifes and vivid abstracts will captivate visitors this winter at the Johns Creek Arts Center.

The occasion is the second annual Georgia Watercolor Society Signature Members ‘ Exhibition, which will take place from Jan. 26 through March 2.

This exhibition will showcase recent work by Georgia Watercolor Society signature members.  A Signature Membership in the Georgia Watercolor Society is earned through acceptance and recognition in multiple juried competitions.

This exhibition marks the second collaboration of the Watercolor Society and the Johns Creek Art Center. JCAC classes and programs foster artistic development in youth and adults. The classes are offered in multiple art mediums and artistic levels.

Major factors in the success of the John Creek Art Center are the tremendous community and corporate support that the center enjoys. This support allows the center to offer affordable quality cultural arts education to the residents of North Fulton County including, but not exclusive to, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Roswell, Duluth, and Suwanee.

The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Johns Creek Arts Center, located at 6290 Abbots Bridge Road, Johns Creek, 30097. Admission to the reception is free.
