Perimeter School Students to Perform 'Annie Get Your Gun'

'Wild West' production is April 17-19.

Perimeter School students will perform “Annie Get Your Gun”  April 17 through April 19.

The rip-roaring, Wild West show is complete with cowboys, Indians, sharp-shooting and of course, a bit of romance. The legendary Annie Oakley, played by Ava Williams, and Frank Butler, played by Jon Hunt Ficken, compete to decide who will be the best shot in the Old West.

“Annie Get Your Gun” is based on the original book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields as revised by Peter Stone, and is known for its songs like “There’s No Business Like Show Business.” Music and lyrics are by Irving Berlin, and it is presented through special arrangement with R & H Theatricals (www.rnh.com). The play will be performed Wednesday, April 17, at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 18, at 4 p.m. and Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m.
